My Growth

me 2016

I started doing makeup when I was 14 in 2014 and since then I grew up so much both mentally and artistically. In 2014 I had the most strange obsession with blue eyeshadow! Everything needed blue eye shadow. I always used the same bright pink lipstick and a black eye pencil for liner. Not often did I used mascara but mostly because my mom would not allow me (haha). Eyebrows were a complete mystery and I didn't even know you could do anything to them. I never used liquid foundation for the same reason I didn't use mascara. As I matured as a person, I matured and an artist.

After a few years of practice and growth I found my own love and style. My makeup routine as almost done a 180, which is a very good thing! Now I do not do anything before applying a primer! It is a must for me. I then use a liquid foundation now, even though due to my paleness it is hard to find the right shade! I tend to lean more with gray and white eyeshadows, sometimes
pinks or burgundies. A subtle cut crease is my go-to. Matte liquid black eye liner is an always with a
small wing preferably. Now if I ever do not do my eyebrows, I feel awful and naked, powders over pencils for sure. Black crayon for my lower water line and mascara of course. I don't wear false lashes because I do not like how to feel and I do not like how they look ON ME; this is 100% a personal preference. Even though I am very bad is always contour and highlight my face (as they say: Practice makes perfect!) My favorite lip color  is the one you see in the last picture. A more natural lip.  Now here is where many people disagree with me,  I very much dislike blush. I never wear it and honestly don't think I own any. I feel so silly wearing it since I have the same skin tone as a yeti; it makes me look and feel like a clown. If you like blush and it works for you, rock it!

You are beautiful in and out, pink cheeks or not!

Galaxy

I decided to jump onto the band-wagon with this trend and create a beaıtiful galaxy on my face, and a friend of mine's face. Each took about an hour to do and I am very very happy with the results. Tell me what you think!

skin glove

pink mask

For this week I wanted to try something I've been wanting to do, a mask!
But instead of a classic black mask I did a pink one, and inverted it.

 steps:

  1. started with a face primer
  2.  added full coverage foundation slightly darker than my natural skin tone
  3. powder
  4. contour and highlight (lots of highlight around the eyes and cheek bones)
  5. filled in and defined brows
  6. shimmery eyelid primer
  7.  white shadow base covering all lid and brow bone.
  8. light pink on lid leaving some white showing (blend!!)
  9. light/dark brown in crease (blend)
  10. dark shimmery purple slightly above crease. (blend!!)
  11. matte liquid eyeliner with small straight wing
  12. white on waterline and lower lash line
  13. mascara + fake lashes (optional)
  14.  using dark color of choice lip/eye liner draw outline for top part of mask
  15. using a lighter shade of previously chosen color, draw outline for bottom
  16. use shadow that matches outline color, shade around the mask and blend!
  17. finish with natural lip color (I preferred glossy, but it is optional)

POP-ART

This one was a lot of fun! I was inspired by the snapchat filter and decided to recreate it myself :)

I wont give a detailed description of how I did this one so if you wound like one, or a video, let me know in the comments :)

Alien

I don't have a video for this one but I still want to post it.

What I've done is use a combination of several shades of blue on my eyes, darker in the crease and light on the brow bone. I used the same combination under my eyes. For the inner corner I used a white mixed with a light blue. For eye liner I used a bright blue pencil I got from amazon and a super thin line of black liquid, but I did used some black pencil on my water line.

For brows I didn't want to block them out so instead I brushed a dark blue eye shadow all over them.

For foundation I used a color that was slightly darker than my natural skin tone so because I brought it all the way down my neck.

Around the eyes I used a white pencil to make some dots and repeated the process with a bronze pencil.

For my forehead I really wanted to do something cool and since my forehead is rather large, there is plenty of room. I did an blue to green ombré.
